Too Few Results/No Results

DocFind provides you with several ways to tailor the results you receive from you searches. Based on the criteria you enter, you can increase or decrease the number of results.

If you are seeing too few results, you should try broadening your search criteria. For example, if you specified that you are willing to travel 5 miles, you could increase that mileage to a larger number. This also applies if you are seeing no results. There are likely to be Aetna physicians and other health care professionals in your area, but perhaps not any that match all of the criteria that you indicated.

Too Many Results

DocFind provides you with several ways to tailor the results you receive from you searches. Based on the criteria you enter, you can increase or decrease the number of results.

If you are seeing too many results, you should try adding more criteria to your search to limit the number of results you are seeing. For example, you can provide additional geographic information, or choose other criteria such as specialty, hospital, or languages spoken by the provider.

Viewing Your Search Criteria

As you are using the DocFind application, you may forget what search criteria you entered on the prior page. All of the subsequent search pages display a summary of these criteria at the top of the page for your convenience. A New Search button will appear in the upper right-hand corner above them. Clicking on that button will bring you back to the first search page where you can select new criteria.
