Aetna Vision^SM Discounts:
Aetna Vision Discounts locations offer savings on eye examinations, eyeglasses and contact lenses. This program is available to Aetna health and dental plan members. No referral from a primary care physician is required. Aetna Vision Discounts is a rate-access only program and is not insurance. Most providers at Aetna Vision Discounts eyewear locations are also participating providers with Aetna. Your health plan may include coverage for an eye examination. Regardless of your exam benefit level, you may receive both exam and eyewear services at most. Please call the Aetna Vision Discounts provider directly to verify the level of services provided. Some locations may not have a participating doctor on site to perform eye examinations.

Institutes of Excellence Transplant Facilities:
Hospitals that have met extensive quality and credentialing criteria have been selected by Aetna to participate in our Institutes of Excellence network for transplant and transplant related services. These facilities have been contracted on a transplant specific basis and facilities are considered participating only for the transplant type listed in this directory. To be considered in-network for coverage for transplant related services, including evaluation, transplant, and follow-up care, you must utilize an Institutes of Excellence participating facility that has been specifically contracted by Aetna for your transplant type. Services must be preauthorized with Aetna for coverage to be effective. Any facility that is not specified as an Institutes of Excellence network facility is considered non-participating or non-preferred for transplant related services, even if they are considered participating for other types of services. Facilities are listed in the Institutes of Excellence section of this directory by transplant type and by State.

Natural Therapy Professionals:
Natural Therapies is a reduced rate program. Aetna has no responsibility to pay or reimburse members for reduced rate services received through this program. Participating Natural Therapy Professionals and vendors are solely responsible for the products and services they provide. Providers or vendors offering reduced rates under Natural Therapies have not been credentialed or reviewed for quality by Aetna. By making these reduced rates available, Aetna does NOT endorse these providers or vendors or their services or make any guarantee as to availability outcomes or quality of providers or discounts under this program. Aetna gives no warranty, expressed or implied, as to description, quality, merchantability, fitness for any particular purpose, or any other matter for any product or service purchased by taking advantage of a Natural Therapies reduced rate. Aetna neither recommends the self-management of health problems nor do we promote any particular form of therapy. You should consult your physician for the advice and care appropriate for your specific medical needs.

Hearing Services:
HearPO Discount Program locations offer discounts on hearing exams, services and hearing aids through HearPO. This program is available to all members. You do not need a referral from a primary care physician. However, if your benefits plan covers hearing exams and hearing aids, consult your directory of health care professionals or log on to DocFind for a list of participating audiologists. Your out-of-pocket expenses could be lower if you use participating audiologists. Please call HearPO at 1-888-HEARING (1-888-432-7464) and identify yourself as an Aetna member to become eligible for the HearPO discounts.

Newport Audiology Discount Program locations offer discounts on hearing exams, services and hearing aids through Newport Audiology. This discount program is available to all Aetna Medicare members. Because the program is not part of your health benefits plan, you do not need a referral from a primary care physician. However, if your health benefits plan covers hearing exams and hearing aids, you should use those benefits first. Your out-of-pocket expenses could be lower if you use participating audiologists. Consult your directory of health care professionals or log on to DocFind for a list of participating audiologists. Please call Newport Audiology at 1-800-675-5485 and identify yourself as an Aetna member to become eligible for the Newport Audiology discounts.
